Toys Sighted: TFU Wave 5 sighted in Christmas ToyCon

by Heer0san

Christmas is definitely in the air for Transformers fans when Patricks Toys shop sells some new and hot Transformers Universe Wave five figures in the recent Christmas ToyCon Day 1 last night.

Jaycee of Transformers Philippines just told me that he saw sought after TFU deluxe and voyager class figures in Patrick's booth, so I went there and saw Cyclonus, Cheetor, Hound, G1 Color Starscream deluxes and a voyager Inferno figures. I almost tempted in getting a Cyclonus figure but I resisted knowing I already spent too much on my toys I bought yesterday (I'l tell the details later on).

Instead, Azrael and Magnusjam of Transformers Philippines got their first hands on TFU Hound and the figure is a beauty (which Az is very happy in acquiring one his fave TF character). According to Patricks toys, these new batch of toys just came from the airport and sold on the spot on day 1 of Christmas ToyCon.

The TFU wave 5 deluxes is sold at Php 950 while the voyager class figs (I think I saw Vector Prime figure there too also) is priced at Php 1,450.

TF toys Toy Kingdom Store Sightings

Recent updates on the more TAKARA TOMY products being sighted in all major toy stores in the metro are flooding the market.

But the sad news is the latest TF Universe and a few G.I. Joes are no longer in sight either its hoarded or simply the quantities are not enough to suplly the demand of the consumer.

But alas exclusive Hasbro Toy Shop editions are all over the place too... -Magnusjam

Hasbro plans for toys in year 2008

Cool Toy Review just posted the list of the entire toyline for Hasbro, and I just saw the list and now puzzled to a possible Marvel Legends Transformers toy line, which is very weird. It can be a Build A Figure line or a series of plastic figures and non transformable TF. that is only my speculation, but I will still love the toy line because it is a TF. new stuff to collect.

And the Animated series toys are coming next year, its a big deal to save more money hahahh.
and what's this automatic transformer? You can command Optimus Prime and it can talk and transform without your hands help. thats one pretty cool toy!!!

for more list of the toy line visit Cool Toy Review's article The 411: Hasbro's 2008 Plans

For their Transformers collection, Hasbro is putting a strong focus on the new Animated version of the characters, and we’ll see the following:

Transformers Animated Voyager Assortment
9 figures

Transformers Deluxe Animated Assortment
15 figures

Transformers Leader Assortment
3 figures

Transformers Animated Activators Assortment
8 spring-loaded quick transforming figures

Transformers Universe Deluxe Assortment
8 figures

Transformers Universe Ultra Assortment
4 figures

Transformers Universe Assortment
8 figures

Transformers Movie Screen Battles Assortment
4 figures with scaled human figures

Transformers Universe Robot Heroes Assortment
13 two packs

Transformers Allspark Battle Packs Assortment
8 two packs

Transformers Animated Battle Pack w/DVD

Roll Out & Command Optimus Prime
Optimus comes to life via automorph technology. This talking figure can automatically transform.

Transformers Ph video blog : TF toys in our local tv news

TV Patrol just aired awhile ago about toys for Christmas, they mentioned that Transformers toys are one of the hottest item for Christmas, but too bad they showed bootleg toys in Divisoria.
But Im glad that they still show some of our local toy stores that sells legit stuff like Transformers.

my advice for parents is that you should buy the real things for your kids. and not the bootleg ones. We toy collectors sometimes buy bootleg just for our collection and not for playing with our kids. Lead content in a non-licensed toy is dangerous to our kids health
