Ironhide in L.A.

from Jalopnik.com they say that in this photo was a vehicle used for the character of Ironhide.

"Very high probability that this is Ironhide in the transformers film. Sadly no shots of the front, but i did get a good look at it. It appeared to be a heavily modified Sierra 3500 GMC. The front was more altered than the back. Vents on each side of a very angular hood and large, square headlamps made up the front of the vehicle. The rear has large fender and smoke stacks. After researching the transformers movie site, this could be ironhide. He use to be a red, nissan van back in the day. Still pretty cool. The autobot logo only appeared on the tailgate and was embossed into the metal.
I shot this on Le Brea and Wilshire Blvd in LA

Constructicons? on the movie set

latinoreview.com posted some pics from the TransFormers movie set and it shows a Crane crushing one car in the scene. Now many TF fans are wondering if that Crane really a TransFormer,....Constructicons??

while reviewing the photos, I wondered why is there a crane in the middle of the road and not in a construction site, ehhehehe... so..I guess that crane is really a member of a Constructicons.

"It's been a while but I'm back with some pics you might like to see. I came across the set for the "Transformers" last night. They were filming a scene where three Dark SUV's come speeding up to what I can only imagine is one of The Transformers.

It looked like the Crane is the Transformer transformed into its vehicle form.

I don't remember there being a Construction Crane, but wasn't there some Constructicons once in the cartoon? I wish I could have gotten better pictures, but you can barely see one of the SUV's being crushed by the crane. Anyway, the light that was shining on the crane is supposed to be a spotlight from a helicopter.

I heard someone say that there was a helicopter taking aerial shots earlier. Wish I could send you some better images, but my camera could only do so much." - commentary from Machete of Latinoreview.com

Bumblebee transforming on the Transformers set

from
http://www.autoblog.com/2006/06/27/bumblebee-transforming-on-the-transformers-set/

AutoblogSpanish stumbled upon a pic of Bumblebee on the set of the upcoming Transformers movie being directed by Michael Bay. We've seen pics before of the Chevy Camaro Concept wearing a Bumblebee paint job, but this is the first glimpse of the car in partial transformation. While not too much can be gleaned from the shot, like the fact that it's supposed to be based on the Chevy Camaro Concept at all, we do seeing a model of the car's 6.0L V8 being used as the heart of this animatronic monster.
